Not boring
Not boring.
Now, you might think: “Business services - how boring” I mean, these days it feels like everyone and their dog offers them. Big deal, helping someone fill out a few forms and submit them to the right office — especially now that the “office” is more often virtual, meaning you don’t even have to cross the street.
Okay, sure, the forms are in Catalan — not exactly the world’s most widespread language. But hey, Google handles that just fine. And you’d even be right, if that’s how it looks to you.
But that’s not how it looks to me. I’ve been waiting for it to get boring for over 20 years now. Waiting for that sign from the universe that says, “Time to change paths.” Still waiting. And the universe keeps laughing - Not gonna happen dear! ;-)
First of all, you know that old story — someone can either be hauling stones or building a house. Well, I’m helping build. Or at least I’m doing everything I can to help build — something solid, sustainable and beautiful.
Second, the bureaucrats — bless them — are nearing the level of those video game villagers that send you on unrelated quests, each more ridiculous than the previous, yet somehow crucial to advancing toward your main plot. Finding a way out of those and leading a client through it all — well, let’s just say it does come with a certain satisfaction. And without that, life would be a bit too much like strawberry kefir, wouldn’t it?
So I’ve decided to share some of the situations we find ourselves in with clients — little potholes where I’ve hopefully managed to lay down some straw. Not that it covers all the potholes — no one’s giving you a roadmap with every trap marked out. And if someone does offer you one, run — it’s a scam, trust me! :)))
I won’t promise it’ll be 100% useful. But maybe, just maybe, it’ll keep you entertained.
